Employees Compose Jazzy On-Hold Music

Jazz hands! We’re swinging and swaying to the new on-hold music composed by two talented CoolSys Energy Design employees.
Anthony Evelina and Andrew Palisch, Electrical Designers, who are neighbors at work, share a passion for jazz music. So, when Allan Samuels, head of CoolSys Energy Design, was looking to update the company’s on-hold music with something that better fit the cool vibes of the brand, he turned to Anthony and Andrew to lend their talent to the project.
Away from work, the duo often write and play music together and have regular Wednesday night jam sessions, so the collaboration came very naturally for them. In fact, when approached with the project, Anthony already had an idea in mind. He had a song partly made with guitar, drums and bass. He sent it to Andrew to lay down some keys and Anthony added other instruments including a horn arrangement at the end of the 2:22-minute piece. The result is a jazzy, upbeat composition the two affectionately dubbed “The CoolSys Beat,” and they are proud to have it featured as on-hold music for CoolSys Energy Design.
The company has already replaced the generic on-hold music with this cool new custom beat composed by Anthony and Andrew.

And, this isn’t the last you’ll hear from Anthony and Andrew. The pair of musicians already have plans to add to their repertoire with another on-hold recording — just to mix things up a bit.
