VICE PRESIDENT and GENERAL MANAGER
Ben Rosenzweig brings his broad experience with the commercial, industrial, and large-scale residential markets to CoolSys Energy Design to lead the company, projects, and clients towards a more sustainable, lower carbon emissions, and more energy efficient future every day. Starting his career at ExxonMobil prior to joining Energy Squared, which then became CoolSys Energy Design, he has worked his way into the company’s leadership role and brings many years of wide-ranging experience with him, Ben focuses on creating an environment where his passion for innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurialism drive both the success of the engineers and designers working for the company as well as the projects that our clients trust us to develop.
Ben is a graduate of the College of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Lehigh University with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in 18 states.
Chris has over 15 years experience in construction management, and offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in resolving on-site construction problems and issues. Chris has a unique capability of uncovering solutions to complex MEPR construction related issues. Chris has many years of involvement with plumbing design, bidding, cost estimating and commissioning which has been an invaluable addition to CoolSys Energy Design services, particularly with cold storage distribution facilities, supermarkets and big box retailers/wholesalers.
A graduate of the University of Delaware, Chris has spent two decades focusing on sustainability and energy efficiency. He is an active member of the ASPE (American Society of Plumbing Engineers) and the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association).
Briana Walsh has a passion for people, which is why she serves as the Vice President at CoolSys Energy Design. After transitioning from the non-profit sector in human services, she brought with her the mind-set to put “people-first” which is perfectly in line with the CoolSys mantra. Briana has a Master’s in Business Communication and BA in Journalism and Public Relations from Rider University; and she utilizes the theories of her thesis, “How Employee Engagement Equals Company Profitability” on a daily basis by motivating her team. With a role split between Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources, Briana can be found cultivating new relationships with both clients and candidates alike and would love to connect with you about a future project or career opportunity within the CoolSys team.
Yoram Perelman has over 25 years of experience in electrical engineering in a multitude of sectors including commercial, industrial and retail building design. With a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Yoram has honed his competencies in many electrical facets such as power distribution, stand-by generation system design and building integration, lighting systems design, low-voltage systems and short circuit study and coordination. Of all the things in which he excels, Yoram’s passion is the development of conceptual engineering for new construction projects that provide the basis for an energy-efficient, coordinated design. In fact, Yoram was the lead electrical engineer and project manager of the first Silver LEED certified supermarket in the US (pilot program) where he applied energy conservation strategies and incorporated technology to reduce the energy footprint of the project. During his tenure at CSA (Clive Samuels and Associates), Yoram quickly advanced into a Senior Project Management role due to his ability to handle large-scale national accounts. Yoram takes pride in his ability to personify the CoolSys Energy Design/Energy Squared mantra for innovative solutions, on-time delivery and meeting our client’s construction and expansion design needs.
